it shouldn't matter, but as a general rule the lower the speed the less likely errors are to happen

man im lost, i tried everything i can think of.
What am i doing wrong? i downloaded the file.... Then burned the file from "downloads" at 4x to dvd.... then reboot and setup boot order to boot from cd..... then i get that its not a boot cd... Am i supposed to extract the files first with winzip then burn the extracted files to cd?

I've installed this version, works great, BUT I too get the This Copy of Windows is not genuine BS message in the bottom right hand corner.

AND NO, I haven't downloaded a single update, so none of that crap with 'update ending with 33' I've only installed SP1. Could that have been an issue?

SP1 includes that same wga bullshit. It's just a package of the windows 7 updates.

Also, as a computer technician I can say that you should never ever update to a new service pack on a Windows OS. The only times service packs are good idea is when they are part of the original installation. Updating with them only causes problems and bugs, imo.

have been able to do everything but bootcamp on a sony vaio. you may need to update your BIOS from your manufacturers website. if you mess up the updates just start over and get remove WAT from this site as well. sail safe.
